As the first of its kind in Canada, Ontario as an important law called the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.  The intention of the Act is to develop a clearly articulated set of accessible standards that will provide clarity for organizations aiming to improve information and communications, as well as barrier removal.
