With our extensive experience in the rail and transit industries we were tasked with helping transit agencies get passengers back in their seats feeling safe. Working with our partners in the industry, INPS developed our polycarbonate barriers considering the following variables:
- Type of vehicle (trains and buses)
- Seating configurations (quad style seating, facing seats, row seats)
- Space between the seats
- Design of the seats
- Safety regulations – flammability, strength and durability
- Designed for temporary use – minimally intrusive, leaving little evidence upon removal
