POLICY: INPS respects the principles of personal information protection and privacy and is committed to protect all personal information in its possession. To ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws we have developed the best practices and procedures set out in this Privacy Policy.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Is defined as age, weight, height, medical records, ID numbers, income, ethnic origin, blood type, opinions, evaluations, comments, social status, employee files, disciplinary action, credit records, loan records.
Not considered personal information: Name, Title, Business Address, Business Telephone No. or anything normally listed on a business card.
INPS does not collect personal information from Customers.
Personal Employee Information will only be used for the purpose for which it was/is obtained, namely for the purpose of supporting company operations and providing benefits.
Personal Information will not be forwarded to third parties unless required by law or to provide benefits to employees. Such third parties also have a Privacy Policy and are committed to protect personal information.
Personal information will be secured in locked filing cabinets and electronic information is protected by passwords and only accessible to those who need to know.
All written/printed personal information will not be disposed of through the normal waste paper basket but must be shredded prior to disposal.
ACCESSING AND CORRECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION:
The company will make every effort to maintain information which is correct.
Anyone wishing to make correction will be given access to their information and file by contacting the Company’s PRIVACY OFFICER.
PRIVACY OFFICER: The appointed Privacy Officer for INPS is W. Huber, Human Resources Manager. All questions or concerns regarding privacy issues must be addressed to the Privacy Officer who will investigate the issue and attempt to resolve any dispute.
