Hydro Box Wrap for Juno Awards
Project Overview:
The 48th annual Juno Awards were airing live in London, Ontario, from Budweiser Gardens on March 17, 2019. London Hydro wanted their hydro box located in front of RBC Place branded for the Juno event.
Challenge:
The challenge of the job was a short time frame and cold weather in late February and early March. Also, the hydro box required a work approval permit because it was located on city property.
Solution:
A good graphics vinyl installation is to apply vinyl at temperatures above 18 degrees Celsius. However, it can be applied at a temperature as low as 10 degrees. Our team created a tented structure around the hydro box that could be heated to optimal temperatures for a long-lasting graphics application. Our installation team completed the hydro box wrap in one day.
The City of London regulates work on, above, or below municipal roads, sidewalks, and boulevards. A Work Approval Permit was obtained before the commencement of the hydro box installation.
