The PEDESTRIAN MUST PUSH BUTTON TO RECEIVE WALK SIGNAL sign should be used to indicate to pedestrians that pushbuttons are available and should be used for controlling Pedestrian signal indications at traffic signal controlled intersections. This sign is intended to be placed by the pedestrian signal head on the far side of the crossing.
