The TC-4L sign must be installed at or just beyond the beginning of a lane closure taper. On freeways, the sign must be used together with the appropriate TC-3 LANE CLOSED AHEAD sign. Must be used on roadways with more than two lanes for long duration operations and posted speeds of 70 km/h or higher.
