TC-20A is used to warn drivers of intermittent requirements to stop within construction/maintenance zones when visibility of the need to stop is poor. It must be used with TC-20AT and the amber flashers must not continuously flash. Flashers must only turn on when triggered by an event or situation that will require a stop. The oversize version (TC-120A) must be used on freeways.
