SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONE Traffic Sign

The SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONE sign is used to protect school bus users while they are boarding and exiting the bus, and to caution drivers to be on guard for unexpected or erratic school bus pedestrian traffic. The standard sign (Rb-89) should be used where posted speed is 50 km/h or less. The oversize sign (Rb-189) should be used where posted speed is 60 km/h or greater.
